The Beginning

Plusxclothes.com was born several years ago when I tried to convince one of my size 8 friends that there was not much selection out there for larger women, unless you like wearing a bright floral tent every day. "You should be wearing something more flattering" she would say. So, to prove it to her, I starting searching for online stores that sold plus size clothing in a variety of colors and styles. Some stores say they have plus size clothes, but they only offer 1 or 2 items. Pickings were slim, but I did find a few after a lot of time searching. I showed my friend the handful of stores that offered a good variety and proved my point. I then thought it would be a great to have a website where women could go to find the best plus size apparel stores on the web all in one spot. I am happy to say that over the years Plusxclothes.com has grown along with the number of stores and designers that are now offering real variety in plus size clothing.
